Job Description The Accounts Payable Clerk is a key member of the Payroll and Payment Services team and works closely with departments across Boston University to field questions regarding disbursement status, disbursement issue resolution, and payment estimations, while providing a high level of customer service.
Major duties of this position include:
Retrieval of invoices when requested by end users and management.
Office mail and invoice daily review and distribution.
Review, prepare, and complete data entry of disbursement forms and purchase order related invoices.
Required Skills
High school diploma/GED.
1-3 years of work experience, preferably in a university or accounts payable environment.
Effective customer service and oral and written communication skills.
Detail oriented, demonstrating accuracy and quality of work output.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with SAP.

Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually, commensurate with relevant work experience.
