Provide administrative support to the Bursar's Office/Student Accounts in the day-to-day operation of the office.
Essential Duties:
Monitor petty cash, perform cash, check, and credit card reconciliation/posting/endorsing, process enrollment/commitment deposits and refunds, process room deposits, and additional Friar dollar meal plans.
Customer Service (telephone and counter). Respond to inquiries regarding tuition billing/payments and financial policies.
Perform basic and intermediate mathematical functions including spreadsheet maintenance.
Perform accurate maintenance and reconciliation of financial accounts, processing of transmittal and billing reports.
Marginal Duties:
Maintain records that may include confidential information. Sort, open and distribute individual or departmental incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail. Greet and direct visitors to appropriate areas or persons.
Perform all other duties as may be required.
Education and Experience Required:
High School education or equivalent.
Two to three years' of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of word processing and database systems required.
Excellent organizational and communications skills also required.
Ability to work under deadline pressure and to prioritize assignments while juggling multiple tasks.
