Working under the supervision of the Assistant Director for Student Account Operations, the Lead Student Account Rep-Operations, provides the highest level of customer service (via in person, phone and virtual communications) and answers student, parent and third party inquiries regarding student financial matters. The Lead Student Account Rep-Operations ensures the highest level of compliance with federal, state and institutional policies while maintaining student account records with accuracy. The Lead Student Account Rep-Operations serves as the primary contact for third party vendors (i.e. companies, embassies, government agencies) and associated students with inquiries regarding third party billing. This position is responsible for ~$15 million in annual payments via third party vendors, contract creation and execution, facilitating billing and, collection activities for delinquent accounts. The position serves as the primary contact for ~21,000 annual 1098T forms and tax documents from other countries. In addition, this position will have the standard responsibilities as relates to normal Student Accounts business. This includes counseling all current and prospective students and families regarding financing options and financial policies, while ensuring the highest level of compliance with federal, state and institutional policies. The Lead Student Account Rep-Operations will also process payments, complete financial forms and documents, and process student refund requests.
